Best Western Plus Inn of Hayward

Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, free breakfast had a lot of variety and options . There is also a store and a McDonald's very close by . My only criticism is that it's by a freeway and can be pretty noisy but the rooms come with complimentary ear plugs which is cool, also the jacuzzi was kind of grimey looking but then again it is January right now so, they may night keep up with it in winter since it stayed in the low 60s for the high during my trip.

Nice hotel with well-maintained rooms. Staff was helpful and the overall experience was satisfactory.

Valerie at the front desk is so sweet and lovely one of the best workers out of all of the Best westerns we go to. The only thing about this best western is the hot tub jets don't work its like sitting in a warm bath as a loyal Diamond Select member there should be a discount for the members or half off on future stays

I hadnt been to this place for years. It has been remodeled since i was there years ago. Convenient location. Food and shopping within walking distance. Right off the 880 highway. Nice welcoming staff, clean rooms, quiet atmosphere. Pool and hot tub is a bonus! Also, breakfast is available in the morning and coffee all day in the lobby. Highly recommend

Been here when I was a kid & as an adult now I can say the services are still GREAT! Breakfast is always fresh no matter what breakfast item you chose! Staff are hardworking & amazing! The room always clean & sleep is always good!

We were in a bind...I had booked a room at a different hotel/motel online. When we got there, the room was a chithole. It looked nothing like the pictures. That place was clearly a pay by the hour hotel/motel. We left and found Best Western Plus. The woman at the front desk was lovely, very professional. She got us a room (and allowed us to see it first). The room was clean and very nice, the bathroom was clean. The traffic was noisy, but they provided ear plugs..so it didn't keep either of us awake. One thing though, since you need a mag card to open the hallway doors to gain access to the rooms, it defeats its purpose when those doors are propped open. But all in all I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms were decent, but the smell in the lobby and the surrounding parking area were unpleasant due to water logging. The breakfast was okay, but there weren't many options for vegans.

You won’t believe this excellent service: I stayed here for the first week of July, during extreme heat wave at home. I left behind my large ice pack (major surgery recovery). Checked in again yesterday, they OFFERED to check me in 2 hours early with no fee. Today the head of Housekeeping, Monica, says Hey you’re back, I have something of yours and returned my ice pack, 2 weeks later!! Bagged up with the date, room number, everything. They have just been excellent, from Brandy and Vanessa at the desk to the entire housekeeping staff. Excellent air conditioning and a nice pool, plus great coffee and free breakfast daily. Eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, yogurt, etc. thank you so much Best Western Plus in Hayward. FYI, the traffic noise isn’t that bad, I’ve never used the earplugs but I think it’s nice that they provide them. My room is huge, comfortable and the bed is as well. The only problem I had was a loose cable in the back of the HUGE hi def flatscreen tv, and desk phone: both issues were addressed and resolved within minutes. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Did I mention the great coffee and flavored creamer? As much as you like
